I love that you are able to visit in a variety of settings. Hopefully through the outreach and meetings you will be able to grow the visiting program. I know it's a lot of work and especially for a small group of individuals. You're doing a great job and I wanted to thank you for your dedication! It means so much to those who you are reaching.

In Redding, CA we have six visitors. Five of us do visits and one person is our liaison in cardiac rehab (she exercises there 3 times a week and talks with people when they start rehab). We visit on the 2nd floor (ICU), Cath Lab (very limited), the surgery waiting room and 4th floor Telemetry. Each visitor comes in one day per week. We all sub for each other when needed. All visits are done with nurse & patient approval. Our monthly meetings feature guest speakers who talk about heart issues (surgeon, cardiac nurses, cath lab supervisor, therapist for depression, etc).
