    Hi All!
I am so thankful I found this group. My thoracic aortic aneurysm is 4.2 and was found by accident on CT scan checking for residual Covid in my lungs! I am freaking out a bit and have an ECHO scheduled for 2/3 and then an appointment with a cardiologist at Barnes Hospital St. Louis scheduled for 2/11. I am 47 and have two kids! How long have you all had your issues before it grew to surgery size? I have to stop reading the internet because all I can find is negative info it seems. I am worried about my life expectancy with this darn thing. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi Chiry,
I also went in for a routine CT scan and found out I have an ascending aortic aneurysm 4.4 cm.  My primary doctor hasn't reached out about this yet and I am freaking out a bit as well. Not sure of next steps. I am in NC, 57 and in good health otherwise.

    Hi Christina,

Yes, there is a lot of negative information on the internet but the purpose of the group is to be supportive, understanding and to share our experiences to help ease your mind about what you might be going through. Don't put the cart before the horse, get the echo and take it one step at a time. Remember, most of what we worry about doesn't happen. Stay positive!!

    -Best wishes, and prayers!
