Respectfully Don, this is a group about sharing information. You are here voluntarily.
I subscribed here after being diagnosed with a thoracic aortic aneurysm about a year ago, and have gotten many good answers here just from reading. Answers to questions I might not have thought about asking my cardiologist or cardiac thoracic surgeon. Do I follow up with my physician? Yes, because I never take any answer as fact. BUT, the members of this group also provide a perspective that most doctors cannot- that of patient, and patients of a very specific issue.
Are there days I don't feel like reading responses? Certainly, and then I hit delete. Pretty simple.
I wish you the best, but life is about choice that we are all blessed to have. Exercise your choices if you must, but you do you!

I did say "consider". A specific answer to a specific question should in many cases go to the requester.
Personally, I pose my questions to my cardiologist and/or PCP.

We are all in this together and if I can help anyone by reading their message, I will.
