Hi Everyone!
My 71 yr old mother is undergoing double bypass surgery this week, and I've been scouring the internet for juicer recipes to help in her recovery and to help maintain her future heart health. The fruit recipes are easy. They all blend well together and taste great. No matter the combination, you can't miss.
It's the vegetable recipes that are a bit harder to nail down. My mother loves V8, but even the low-sodium variety has too much sodium. A google search has so many variations. So far it looks like tomatoes, carrots, celery, beets, spinach...? What else? And in what ratio?
So my question: does anyone have a DIY version of V8 that tastes just like V8 (or as close as possible)? If it's as easy as going from the fridge to the juicer, all the better.
Thanks to everyone!
