Today was one of those days that I did NOT feel like going to rehab....sluggish and grumpy and in no mood to be sweating and trying to breathe through a darn mask on the treadmill and elliptical.  I dragged myself in there, told the nurses I felt like I was having palpitations, and jokingly asked them twice during my workout if I was about to die (they assured me that my heart was fine, so I have no idea what the palpitation feeling is)......but I made it through my entire workout, and actually felt better by the time I was done.  I am as proud as if I ran a 5K, lol.  I'm taking baby steps, but considering I had a major attack that could have easily done me in 60 days ago, I've decided to pat myself on the back for every little accomplishment.

I hope all of you are doing well, taking your steps toward healing, and feeling good about it.....

    Good for you Tracy,
Going when you do not want to go is the best time to go. You will always feel better after it is done. The mental part of healing is a very important part of the process as much as the physical. You have set the example and can relay your struggle to others when you hear them say the same thing about feeling grumpy and such. Be proud of the little steps and you will see progress very soon.
    Good luck and take care.

    Dear Tracy
One day at a time, enjoy the “babysteps “ which are milestones. its Ok to have an off day; if they occur frequently, talk to you doctor. Your cardio-therapists are very in tune with what is good or too much for you (if they are as good as mine were).
thank you for reaching out to us.
