  • 1.  Being put in a box

Recently had TAVR for aortic valve. Previous (12yrs) quad bypass surgery. First investigational cath proved all 4 bypass were open and clear with no compromises.
Carotid arteries clear as well. Previous to the TAVR I was on zero prescriptions for 12 yrs. My diet is strictly ketogenic along with exercise.

After the TAVR the heart clinic put me into two boxes.

Box 1, CAD, which calls for Statins, beta blockers, BP meds.

BOX 2, Heart Failure due to weakening heart pushing against a bad valve. Meds, increase beta blockers, entresto, spironolactone and lasik.

I went from no meds to a cabinet full of meds. The lasik dehydrated me to the point low BP. Stopped lasik now, Stopped beta blocker, refuse to take entresto.

The point of this thread is you are an individual with individual problems and solutions, don't be put in a box.
