    I live in palm beach county Florida, I am wondering if anyone can recommend a Cardiothoracic surgeon. Travel would not be a problem, obviously if theirs one that is in Florida that performs surgery at a well known high volume cardiac facility with A great reputation  that would be even better, I have an ascending thoracic aeorta aneurysm that is 5cm and I will be looking to have elective surgery in the near future.     Dr. Steve Xydas was a respected thoracic surgeon at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey.  In 2016, he left Morristown to became chief of cardiovascular surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida.  Dr. Xydas would be my first choice to repair an ascending aortic aneurysm in southern Florida.
