Erin,
Please get to the emergency room of your nearest hospital and get this checked out immediately. And call your cardiologist to let them know.
Maybe it's nothing, but you don't know unless you have it checked.

Hi all. I posted months ago when first diagnosed with a BAV and 4.6 cm ascending aortic aneurysm. My next screening is August 30 but I have been having some chest aches (soreness) and neck aches that I didn't have before. What should I be watching for or aware of when it comes to possible dissection. My cardiologist really didn't say much about that. This will be my 2nd meeting with him and to be honest I've only spent about 20 minutes with him after my diagnosis. I'm hoping he is more informative this time or I will need to find another cardiologist!
