I am with the Mended Hearts at
The PIH Hospital in Whittier California. I have had a Heart Disease since 1998, that’s 21
Years. At first I weighed 210 lbs,
I lost 20 Lbs. I thought that it
Was enough, in 2015 I received
    my 4th or 5th echo. I received
    news that my ejection fractions
dropped to 10 to 13%. A Hospital told me they will be
    doing testing and CAT SCANS
to determine if I might be a candidate for a Heart Transplant. The Cardiology’s DEPT could not understand
How can I work part time. So that’s when I decided to lose
more weight. I went online to check out the benefits of lemon concentrate in water. I went to Sam’s Warehouse bought some instead of coffee or soda I drank water with lemon. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a mug next to my bed for nighttime. Within 6 months my weight was going down 190 then 180 then 170. I asked the cardiologist what are the odds of the Heart repairing itself. I was told lest then 1%. So they preformed another echo. When I went back for my follow up visit the cardiologist said good news and bad news. I asked for bad news your heart has gone up to18 to 20% I’m off the heart transplant list but still in heart failure

Have you tried Cardiac Rehab? I had idiopathic asymptomatic cardiomyopathy six years ago. I flat-lined, and I was unconscious for nine days and given no chance to survive. My BMI (and everything else) was normal, so I didn't have weight problems, but my EF dropped to 10, and it was 15-20 when I left the hospital.  I was on the transplant list, but I took myself off.  I'm allergic to everything and knew I could never take the drugs.  I had trouble getting into Phase 2 cardiac rehab, because a low ejection fraction didn't get you in at that time; that has since changed.  My EF is now 40, which is wonderful for me.  And I tell CR, "You didn't save my life, but you gave me my life back."    I hope and pray CR might help you as well.  I still have cardiomyopathy, but I live as normal life as possible and enjoy every minute of it.
