Good Morning Marilyn,
Hahaha, had to laugh when I read your reply. That would be my husband and I as well! But yes, I agree everyone should have a pulse ox. Not sure what would've happened if I hadn't already had one! Hope you both are doing well : )

I joke that my husband bought the pulseoxymeter as my birthday present ... as that is when it arrived ( we were too sick to celebrate) ... using it saved his life . Everyone should own one

Good Morning Marilyn,
Thank you so much for sharing your husband's experience with me and for your kinds words of encouragement! I want to also thank you for giving me your phone number in case I need to reach out : )
I read all these messages while in the hospital but was too tired to reply. They sure lifted my spirits!
It sounds like your husband and I had the same experience. Did he seem to have a bit of brain fog during that time or maybe even still occasionally?
I was able to come home without the oxygen but sill have to monitor it. It is has been holding at 96. My Dr said I should be myself again in about 4 weeks. I can even start back with my walking, have to start out slow though because I still tire very easily.
How is your husband feeling now?
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a very safe and healthy New Year!
Michelle

Our prayers are with you. Thanks for reaching out to us
My husband was in the Hospital in early October with Covid Pneumonia like you. He had the same treatments as you and did well with them. He came home after one week but is still using oxygen . Hope this good news gives you encouragement .
However he was very frustrated by having to stay in that room the whole time, no walking in the halls . It was very lonely ( he said he has empathy for prisoners in solitary confinement)
Please use your facetime / Telephone. text messages etc techniques to visit with your family and friends.
Be sure to buy a pulseoxymeter (spelling?) for when you go home . Call me if you need tips. hopefully you will be home soon

Hi Everyone!
Hope this message finds you all well. You are all so kind and have always had great words of encouragement for me when I first joined this group. I'm in need of prayers and encouraging words more than ever. I tested positive for COVID and am in hospital. They admitted me yesterday, I'm on day 7 with the virus. I had the remdesivir and plasma treatments today. I'm still on oxygen and now I know why it's so difficult to breathe. I've developed COVID Pneumonia sometime during the past few days! Please say a prayer for me as I'm very scared😢
Thank you all so much!!!!
