    Hi! 

    Just got word our family friend's father had a successful heart surgery yesterday and received 3 stents for three very clogged arteries. He's doing good and surgery was a success per his doctor. Just wanted to make sure someone can visit him and offer support for him! He's the sweetest man you'll ever meet and their whole family as well. He's in the Fresno, CA area. I can find out specifics if need be, but i don't want him to go unwelcome into this wonderful support network! :D

    Hi Lydia,
    One of the reasons I joined this group was to seek similar support for my brother who underwent CABGX4. I found that actual visitations are very hospital specific but that there is a good amount of online support on this site. Encourage your friend to sign up and post specific questions. Generally the most productive advice is to make sure he completes the Cardiac rehab program available to him and there is a good chance he will participate along with other heart patients to get the local support you are seeking.
