I guess only an Irishman would try to Pull-start the power washer a couple of weeks after open heart surgery for an aortic aneurysm repair and valve replacement. But yes that was me, it was not such a clever idea.
Although now (9 years later) (I'm now 56 years old) I can start most engine by hand pulling, I normally do the initial start with the Pullstarter that I designed and have refined over the years. I now have it available at it can be seen in action at https://www.pullstarters.com
The units are not mass produced, they are made from machined and extruded aluminum, so are a little expensive.
I ship them individually from Ireland.

From one Irishman to another I had bypass surgery in 2002. The surgery took place on 1 March and on 1 May my wife and I run airplane going to Ireland to play golf. I walked and carried  my clubs at Lahinch. I could not of done that without cardiac rehab. I'm now 88 and still playing golf but I don't care my clubs anymore. Dr. Bill.

Hey Bill, Thanks for the comment. I'm about 6 miles from Belfast International airport, 14 miles from the thriving city of Belfast and  an hour away from Royal Portrush Golf Course. As you know , its a small country here - if you come North next time let me know and maybe we can share a few glasses of the black-stuff. I cant have too many glasses as it messes with the warfarin, but where there's a will theres a way !!
