  • 1.  3 months post 5 artery bypass my arms and hands are swollen and really painful , plus if I hold them down they start to turn blue ,has anyone had this happen

    this has been going on for a couple months has had EKG, CT of cervical spine ,BP and O2 are all good ,going to have EMG and nerve conduction test next 

    just wondering if anyone else has had problems like this

    You need to contact your doctor immediately. If he is not available, go to the emergency room where you had your surgery or the closest one.

    Have been to PCP, Cardiac and neuro doctors they have done EKG, ct of cervical area . Pulse ,BP and O2 are all good . this has been going on for a couple 
    months . Had surgery in FL ,on Feb 10th , came home to Va. March 13th  was a little swollen in hospital but getting worse . doesn't seem to be heart but maybe in thoracic compartment ,just wondering if anyone has had this problem .

    I am glad that you sought help and that you have negative test results. However, if you are still experiencing these same symptoms, don’t let it rest. Keep going back until they find the answer.

     Thanks,  for your response ,posted a longer note on discussion page . We have been to several Dr.s had EKG, CT of cervical spine and BP, O2are all good

    you may be using your hands and arms too much, but I would see the doctor
