    Hello everybody.
Has anyone heard of or had Infusion Needle Radio Frequency Ablation To treat stubborn PVC's. I've heard good things about Nashville's Vanderbilt Cardiac Center.

    Thanks,

It appears this site is a great resource for folks with heart disease (duh!). Not many on here with rhythm problems. I wish all of you health and success with surgeries and treatments. It's great y'all have each other! Take care.

    Hi Margo,

I periodically see rhythm problem discussions on other threads in this website, particularly relating to ablation, and I also know that there is a lot on the internet about arrhythmias, including patient discussion threads that you might find interesting.

    Best,

    Ira

    Hi Margo,
I have a heart arrhythmia due to past heart surgery for a congenital heart defect.  I usually have atrial flutter, but have had ventricular tachycardia.  I'm on a beta blocker and my cardiologist has continued to increase it to minimize my arrhythmia.  So far, so good.  An ablation may be in my future.  I also have a leaky pulmonary valve that will need to be replaced and that might have an effect on my arrhythmia too.  Time will tell.  I would suggest that you search for "ablation" and "arrhythmia" to see what posts show up.  There have been discussions on here and arrhythmia is a typical problem that is connected with heart surgeries/disease.
If you proceed with an ablation, I hope it is successful for you.

    Hi Margo,

No you are not alone.  I have multiple arrhythmia issues.  I started with afib, and now I get atrial flutter with tachycardia.  I had a mitral valve prolapse repair.  Sadly I am a very complicated case.  I have met others on Mended Hearts who also have arrhythmias.   Heck, the last meeting I attended I met someone much much younger than I with the same repetitive complications.

I would love to connect with you. Maybe we can share resources.
