Greetings Janis.
Good to hear that your stamina and strength are doing well. On the BP meds, after my 6 by-pass open heart surgery many years ago, it took quite a while for my primary physician and cardiologist to determine what worked best to keep my blood pressure down. There was one that worked very well and as a diuretic it flushed my system of water weight. However, it also took out so much potassium that it put me at risk. They finally settled on two prescriptions which have worked so well that as I lose weight, they are considering reducing the dosage. If one loses enough weight, eat extra healthy, mostly fruits and veggies, lean meat or fish, and low sodium intake, it makes the meds work better.
Let your cardiologist keep searching for the right combination or BP prescription. Even if it take a while, in the long run, it will be worth it.
God blesses you!

Subject: Feeling better, getting stonger
Hi everyone,
16 months after my heart attack I staring to feel stronger. I also have more stamina.
I only wish I could get my blood pressure down. It is still too high. I have resistant hypertension like my father.
I have tried so many medications for my PB. I eat as well as I can and exercise. I'm trying to loose weight.
Don't know what else to do.
