I thought you might enjoy watching this video. This emotional response is one that so many parents go through and we all know the fear of a lifetime of care that is associated with heart disease. I love that he is already passionate about using his voice to make a difference.

Really praying he does positive things to our community! As we live in CA i can only pray and hope he uses his platform for the better of our community and shine more light on CHD awareness! My prayers go out to him and his family. I welcome him with open arms, as we all do, i am sure. I responded to his video and watched the entire episode and heard what Sean White had to say coming from the kid/adult perspective and loved that his parents let him find his own limitations when acceptable-of coarse. and want to thank them as well for allowing him to be him, and not have his entire identity in his CHD! 

So thankful for my involvement as well, so many of my friends tagged me in his message across facebook,  it's nice they remember our kiddos, but sad how quickly it fades. Praying for a more impactful outcome to this as well.

I cried when I watched his monologue. My husband cried and immediately picked up our baby and have him hugs and kisses. Our baby's surgery was only 3 months ago so hearing his emotional story was very hard.

Having been born with Aortic Stenosis (58 yrs ago) and 3 surgeries later...,
It is very important to remember.
Your child knows life as he is and do not or try not to treat him/her any differently or as "special".

Because a long life is ahead.

This video touched me so much! Being on the other side of it though, I was also born with Tetrology of Fallot and Pulmonary Artresia. I'm 29 and have had 5 open heart surgeries.  His precious heart and all of your children's or (your) hearts will only make them stronger!! Having my own healthy little girl now, I can't even imagine what Heart parents go through! You have to be incredible advocates and so very courageous! So thankful for my parents who helped me through this journey! I have so much respect and love for all the parents who have to walk down that path! ❤️
