Well been feeling very tired and more shortness of breathe

Today I had another nuclear stress test and echo done.
Doctor called me today need another heart cath done on Monday to see what the next step will be

Has anyone had anything similar.  I am worried that I will need another by pass.

Doctor stated if I need the nitroglycerin to use it and if I develop chest pain to go to the ER.

Will this ever end?  My by pass was March 26,2019.  I was feeling pretty good and completed my cardiac rehab and went back to work.

    Just feeling very emotional.

    Thanks all

    Hello,
I had a similar feeling but found out that all I needed was a pacemaker. My shortness of breath improved along with a change of medication. I don't know if that will be your case but the cath will show the problem in most cases. The first year after the CABG was my worst year. Things began to really improve after having my pacemaker put in. Some folks just need to find the right combination of meds to improve. Everyone is different and there is no simple set answer, Sorry. It does get better with time, it really does. The downside is the waiting to find out what it will take to make it better. Hang in there. This is something that we all have to deal with for the rest of our lives. Try to stay positive, keep believing you will get better. We are here for you and we know and understand the frustration. The body is an amazing machine and it can recover from all kinds of trauma if we give it a chance. Take care.

Sometimes things don’t go quite right in the heart business - for a wide range of reasons. You are doing absolutely the right things to get the tests done and find the problem. I volunteer in the heart area at our local hospital, visiting the families in the waiting room during the heart operations . And I can say there are times, rarely, when more testing is needed. Stick with it and keep us posted.

Hello Linda, Just a word of encouragement, it is always tough to continue with life and emotions when facing a situation like cardiac health problems. be strong and courageous, Stay as calm as you can. Another operation is scary, but it means another chance to repair your arteries and live life longer. The doctors today can do great things!!! I personally trust in the Lord,it gives me comfort. I will pray for you to have a successful outcome when you get treatment. Jim Phillips

    Hi Linda

I was following up on how your feeling.  Your story is very similar to what I experienced when I returned to work after my CABG.
