A few things to keep in mind.
1 we all heal and recover at different rates.
2 In my situation, as i got stronger from my rehab I would progress to a point that I started feeling less energy and had to CONVINCE my cardiologist that I was over medicated. He made me wear a monitor and track my BP for a few weeks than had me reduce 1 Rx in half. within a few days I started feeling more energetic. This process was repeated 3-4 months later when I felt like I was loosing energy again. This time my cardiologist had me reduce a different Rx and a few days later i felt more energetic. This process continued and now I am only on 1 Rx (Atenolol 50mg/daily) for my minor Afib. My BP is good and more importantly I feel good.
3 You have to be your own advocate because if you don't tell the MD how you feel when he/she changes your Rx he/she will assume you are OK based on the nominal doses for the average patient.
One question/comment for you when you said your "blood pressure is excellent and my heart rate is low"...What's your BP and how low is your heart rate?
Some people need a little bit higher numbers because we're different. In my case even though my cardiologist thought my numbers were great, they were just too low for me.
My cardiac event began with a ruptured artery in my stomach(radiation damage from Hodgkins Lymphoma treatments 1979) losing 3 pints of blood, 2 cardiac arrests, 2 pulmonary embolisms(IVC filter), 2 days in a hypothermia vest followed 2 weeks later with open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve. That was 3 years ago but, I remember like it was yesterday, when I went through the Rx juggling to feel normal again.

Subject: six months after CABGx5
It's been six months since my event. Up until a month ago I was doing well. I'd even started going to the gymn. But lately I have more chest pains when I walk and my energy level has dropped. My blood pressure is excellent and my heart rate is low. Should I be concerned about more blockages?
