  • 1.  Complete heart block and aortic dilation

We had Paisley's Year cardiology check up yesterday, after tuesday's Pacemaker check up.
first, they were able to change her settings and take it off of "auto" setting for the capture so now her ventricular rate should mirror her aortic rate (which i thought was the whole idea in the first place) doc said her vent rate was staying at 70 (her unpaced rate) when her A rate was 120+ Crazy, but now her A & V should be the same rates.

Second, in her cardio vist they ordered an echo which went well, i had to lie on the table with her, but whatever works right?! ;) The techs were the best we've ever had in our 5 years of visits and at our Kaiser hospital, our Children's hospital is always great, so this was WONDERFUL! After the echo was done, the doc said her aorta looked larger than before, he still had some in depth measurements to do, and not to worry-it may just be something to keep an eye on... So i am wondering any other HB kiddos paced have this issue as well? Or anyone with Pacer experience dealing with this? Something to be alarmed about?

She's turning 2 year october 1st and has been paced since july 29, 2016.

    Thanks!!!

    Hi Lydia,

I haven't had experience with a pacemaker, but I just wanted to say that it sounds like overall things are going ok. I hope you can get some experienced pacemaker moms to reply.
