A dog with heart disease helping kids with heart disease

Hi- I actually have a 4- legged kid who was born with a congenital heart disease known as Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia which is similar to ebstein's abnormality in children. I would absolutely love to use her story with heart disease to help put a smile on a kids face when they see a super cute Goldendoodle who has the same problem as they do. My sweet Ellie loves children and all people. She is very laid back, loves attention and of course her favorite thing is a squeaky tennis ball. If any of you know how to help me in my search for any organization or individual family who may be interested in this type of thing please let me know. Thanks so much!!

Such a wonderful idea! Some children's hospitals do have service animal programs where people with dogs come and visit the inpatient children who want those types of visits. I think you could do a lot of good that way!

This is an awesome opportunity for your 4 legged baby, and for the children who will meat him! DEFINITELY get him certified to be a dog that can visit hospital! Call your local children's hospital and ask for information on how to become part of that kind of program!
The kids will LOVE it, especially the heart kids AND parents!
