I started Crestor 40 mg a few months ago , switched from Lipitor 4O mg. I am having tingleness in my left arm and fingers.
Did this happen to anyone with Crestor?

I take Crestor 5mg and it gives me muscle aches and cramps all the time. My last blood work came back good and now I only take 2.5 mg and that still does. It's a common side effect.

    Hi Joe,
Now there are many new, some not so new, LDL lowering drugs that can replace statins. I like PCSK9 inhibitors. Then there is Bempedoic acid, Ezetimibe, and many more. Ask your local lipidologist. Use Copilot or Google to take a look at alternative LDL lowering drugs. The importance is not the drug. It's your LDL result.

I had muscle pain as well. I can tell you that I am very sensitive to statins and even the lowest dose, once a week, drove my CK levels off the charts. I am not against statins, I just happen to be sensitive.  I am very happy my doctors made me get my bloodwork done every three months, and they told me I was in danger of damaging my kidneys due to all the muscle fiber in my blood. An interesting article abstract: Myopathy with Statins: Check CK Levels and Interactions

    Best of health to all.
