Hi Desire!

Thank you for starting a thread about summer camps for heart warriors! Our camp, Hope With Heart, is excited to be celebrating our 35th year of operation this summer! We host a week-long sleep-away camp and the best part is, our camp is FREE of charge for our families. Located in northwestern New Jersey, we welcome children ages 7 to 17 with no geographic restrictions. Our 2024 camp dates are Sunday, August 4th through Saturday, August 10th.

Under the guidance of Pediatric Cardiologist Dr. George Kipel, along with two Cardiac Care Nurses, our campers are in excellent hands. The fun is curated by our Camp Director and Activities Coordinator.

Prospective campers are invited to fill out our Camper Intention Form so we can anticipate their application. You can click here for the form or find it on our website: Camper Intention Form.

Our 2024 Camp Application is on our website: Hope With Heart.

We are also always on the lookout for Heart Counselors, aged 18 and above. Their application will be accessible on our website starting in February.

During Covid, Camp Odayin in Minnesota initiated a virtual Camp Hearts Unite group. This platform allowed camp directors and staff to share valuable information. While there may be more camps out there, here is the list of those who joined the conversations.
