A welcome from the president of Mended Hearts Chapter 12:
Hello! It has been one month since I last spoke with some of the members. I do hope your month has been pleasant and exciting. Just think, August is around the corner, and pre-season football is about to begin.
Aren’t you glad you are alive and can share your heart journey with us? This may sound cliché, but there would be no need for a Mended Hearts Chapter in Temple, Texas, without you. We now have forty-one years of serving the community, and we must stay strong as we rebuild our chapter.
July begins the second half of the year, and now this month is about over. Recent trips to the BS&W Medical Center have revealed we are sorely missed, and they are anxious for our return.
Come join in on the conversations of how we can once again become a solid active chapter. I believe in the possibility we can meet in person again starting in August or September. I have my fingers crossed.
I believe it is essential for us to visit and encourage each other as fellow members regularly. Join this month’s meeting to get acquainted and share your stories, even if it is virtually. We will not have a business meeting. This assembly will be to say hello; how have you been? What is new in your life? You can join in as early as 5:45 pm.
Our meeting this month is on July 22nd. We will be social distancing once again by having a virtual meeting using the Zoom program. I remind you that you may share this link with any guests you would like to invite.
