I was born with a congenital heart defect. I have a single ventricle, transposition of the great vessels and Pulmonary stenosis. When I had my Fontan at 3 years old heart block occurred and I received my first pacemaker. I've had a few hospitalizations and test for my heart since then. I teach school and live a pretty full life!
