Did you know that Cardiac amyloidosis, a condition where abnormal protein deposits (amyloid) build up in the heart & other organs, can lead to heart failure? It sure does. This buildup stiffens the heart muscle, making it harder to pump blood effectively, and can also disrupt the heart's electrical system, causing arrhythmias. Symptoms often include shortness of breath, fatigue, and swelling in the legs and abdomen.
Doctors often miss or misdiagnose amyloidosis assuming it's a more common cardiac condition. Please check here for more info-https://arci.org
