I had Aortic surgery 10 years ago and Mechanical Valve put in. Doing good. Long time in intensive care, 2 wks and another week and then 3 weeks in rehab center to start walking again and healing. Now my Mitral Valve is leaking and going to Plano, TX for evaluation to see how and when they can fix my valve. Baylor Scott& White in Temple, TX said I'm too risky and age(75). So sending me to Plano where the hospital is more advanced and know more about valves. I've been little discouraged but I know God has me. I get out of breathe when I walk very far and also now CHF with 60 percent lung function. Never smoked either. I guess my Genes is in the family with heart issues.
