On October 31st, 2022, I entered local hospital for Kidney stone surgery to remove 6 stones from my left kidney.  This procedure is considered an outpatient procedure. You are normally back home in less than 24 hours.  After the stone surgery was successful and I was home recovering and everything was going fine until about 6 days after the surgery.  I was sitting in my living room on a Sunday evening watching a football game when I felt pain around my heart that would not stop and numbness in my left arm.  I called 911 and when the Ems came, they said I was not having a heart attack, but I told them to take me back to the hospital where I had the Kidney stones removed.  They did and I was admitted because the ER doctor did not know what was going on. The next day a cardiologist came in and told me I had a blockage somewhere and they needed to find out where it was located.  It turns out I had a 90 percent blockage in my main aortic artery. On the morning of the surgery, I actually had a heart attack in the hospital.  The cardiac nurses stopped the attack and that afternoon the blockage was fixed by a surgeon. I turn out the blockage was made of calcium which is what the kidney stones were made up.  I am not a doctor, but I suspect when those stones were broken up by the laser a lot of that calcium when to the blood stream and when to the heart and resulted in the cause of the 90 percent blockage.  However, no doctor would admit to that is what cause the blockage.  In 31 days, I will be coming up on the adversary of the start of the operations on the stones and the heart.  I have fully recovered from the heart attack after participating in a cardiac rehab program at this hospital.  The program is a 36-session exercise program that is supervised by cardiac therapy specialist. I was told by the heart surgeon that I was a lucky person because if that heart attack had happened anywhere else but the hospital, I might not have survived.  The one thing I can say about the events and the order they happen is to listen to what your body is telling you when you feel pain in odd areas of the body.  There were signs of this heart problem but because I was concentrating on the kidney stone issue that I ignored other things.
