Mended Hearts is the oldest, community-based, nationwide support network for heart patients and their families. Founded in 1951. Now, with hundreds of chapters, its mission is still clear: "Inspiring hope and improving the quality of life for heart patients and their families through ongoing peer-to-peer support".
The National Capital Area Chapter of Mended Hearts was chartered in 1976. To find out about the history of Chapter 94 please the shared file of our Historical Perspective.
