    Dear All

    I was advised to do Ablation procedure to overcome an AF case that it seems that I have had for quite sometime.

    I need to know from the experience of those who passed the same procedure using a technology called Pulse Field Ablation PAF.

    How it went and what was the side effects? was it useful ?

    Hi,

    I had an AFIB & A-V junction ablation in 2002 with the goal of putting me on a pacemaker/defibrillator (ICD). Was on the table for ~8hrs. The A-V junction was successful but not 100% of the AFIB. The next day I had the ICD implant procedure. So, yes the procedure was useful but not 100% successful (so to say) as I still have chronic AFIB but am and have been doing well for 23+ years now. I didn't notice any side effects from the ablation and have asked and asked again and again if I could have more AFIB ablation & nope not yet. Good Luck!
