  • 1.  hair loss after cabg

    Has anyone else experienced hair loss after cabg?  I had cabg on 10-7 and my hair is "falling out". I don't. have big bald spots yet but it is annoying and concerning.   I read that it commonly occurs 3-4 months after cabg and that the hair loss will stop and hair return 6-12 months after the surgery.  I would love to hear from anyone who has experiencd this and what if anything they did to remedy it.

    Yes, after my open heart surgery for aortic valve replacement my hair started falling out. Then it stopped after ~6 months. I just let it happen but if I had to donit all over again I would make some rosemary oil and massage my scalp with that, letting it stay in for about 12 hours and then rinse out. Rosemary is great for increasing circulation and great for hair health
