    Hello Mended Hearts friends,

I'm 72 years old and currently recovering from triple bypass (CABG) surgery done on December 26, 2025. The surgery went well, but recovery has been both physically and emotionally challenging.

In addition, I've been living with an ascending aortic aneurysm, now measuring 4.2 cm, which has been monitored since 2021. Having both conditions at the same time has caused a lot of anxiety, especially trying to understand what's normal during recovery and what might need attention.

I would truly appreciate hearing from anyone who:

Is living with an aortic aneurysm around this size

Has had CABG and continues to manage other heart conditions

Can share how they cope with recovery, activity limits, or ongoing worry

I'm not looking for medical advice-just real-life experiences and encouragement.

Thank you for listening, and I'm grateful to be part of this community.

Also after 1 month taking Atorvastatin 80 mg, my liver elevated very high so doctor stopped this medication for 30 days to see if the liver back to normal. This thing makes me very scary, because I'm worried what happens during the 30 days no medication to help control my cholesterol? Please help if you have any of these experiences

The Ornish cardiac rehab program was a super help to me. Available online now and paid for by Medicare. Lots of great emotional support.

    Hi Long,
It's completely understandable to feel anxious during recovery, especially while managing both a CABG and an aortic aneurysm. Many people find that pacing activity, keeping track of symptoms, and leaning on support communities makes a big difference in coping day-to-day. Monitoring heart health regularly and staying informed about arterial conditions is so important. I've also seen helpful insights shared through resources like CONNEQT Health Coupons, which focus on early detection and cardiovascular wellness.
