    I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum because I saw multiple "Introduce yourself" posts ! I'm new here and it's a pleasure to meet all of you and introduce myself. My name is Lusvy Cruz and am an OHS patient from 2017 (established 2017 :)) For me, it was specially traumatic as I did not have family support and had to get back to work as soon as possible after my surgery. By the grace of God I had special and good friends that prayed for me and did what they could do during my recovery. It took me about six months to truly feel a little bit like myself again and feel like I was moving forward with my life. Now, a cardiac surgeon is telling me I will require another OHS. So, the story and journey continues. I'm glad to be here and look forward to communicating with any and all of you.

    Hello Lusvy,

    Sorry to hear that you will need another OHS.  I had one with a triple bypass a few years ago and it is a long road to feeling like yourself again, I know and you know this already but hope it helps to know you are not alone.

    Hi Lusvy,

    Thanks for sharing your story. It takes strength to open up like that. I'm sorry to hear that you're facing another OHS. It sounds like you've already been through so much, especially going through recovery without family support. That couldn't have been easy.

    It's encouraging to hear that you had friends who stepped in during that time. Sometimes, even just a few good people can make a huge difference. I hope being part of this community offers another layer of support as you prepare for the next step in your journey.
