Cardiac amyloidosis should be considered- I was misdiagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HC) 6 yrs ago & it took way too many cardiologist to figure out I had cardiac amyloidosis which comes with a host of other symptoms on top of afib including spinal stenosis, swelling in feet, legs, belly, bruising, low voltage ECG, carpal tunnel, poor appetite & bloating. If you have any of these in addition to your HC please ask to be screen for amyloidosis. Ask for these tests-
3 blood & urine tests; SIFE/SFLC/UPEP .
