My daughter  was born with an ASD and a large VSD. They were both repaired when she was 7 months old. She had a few issues over the years but for the most part has been healthy except medical anxiety. 

she is currently pregnant. Has anyone had any complications in pregnancy due to CHDs or their babies?

I was born with Tetralogy of Fallot which entailed 4 heart defects, one of them was VSD.  I had a shunt at one year old to wait for total repair at six years old.  I had to wait because this was 50 years ago and they didn't do open heart surgery on very little hearts like they do today.   I'm very glad to report that I delivered two healthy babies naturally.  They are 32 and 30 now!  

Because of my history, I go to an adult congenital heart clinic every year for check ups.  While pregnant, I also went to the high risk pregnancy ob/gyn.  They gave me antibiotics during labor as a precaution for any infection. I also had an echo for both my babies while in utero to make sure their hearts were developing normally.
