    Hi Everyone, 

    Let's all share their tips, ideas, and suggestions for managing medications.  Medication adherance is a very big problem according to the experts.

    I manage the medications for myself and my son. Interestingly I can ALWAYS remember my sons meds, but when it comes to my own medication I struggle. I'm not sure why that is what anyways....Whtat do you do to remember your meds? Maybe your suggestions will help someone else.

    I'm big on filling weekly pillboxes ahead. I do one for days and
    another for nights. They're a nuisance, but it's worth it, and I do
    them about three weeks at a time. That way I'm sure I never miss a
    dose. I have travel ones too.

    When I first came home from surgery, my wife bought me an "old man" pill box. The one with two sections for each day and room for a bunch of pills. I sit down every Saturday at breakfast and fill the box. I leave it on the table with a gallon zipper bag. I notice every meal and throw in the bag for trips.

    This is our October Mended Hearts newsletter for Chapter 71.?? I know on
    the teleconference call, we were asked to send it to National.?? I had
    asked for the appropriate emails, so we could put them in our system,
    but I haven't received anything,?? Andrea, could you forward it to the

    ​Here's an idea that works for me. If you're comfortable online, there's a great FREE app that I use called Care Zone. On it you can post names, addresses, and contact information of family, Doctors, and any other emergency contacts, medication lists with dosages, and when to refill, insurance information etc.etc. And it's easy to use. Must be if I can use it.
