    are there any in person meetings in seattle for open heart surgery survivors? i am struggling with depression and would like to find a group of people who have been through this type of surgery.

    Hi Annie

    Sorry to hear you are going through that. Post OHS depression is not uncommon. 

    There is a Mended Hearts chapter in Seattle, see their website at  https://www.mhops.org/ 

    Our Bellingham WA chapter has a Young Mended Hearts group (~ages 18-55) that meets monthly in-person/hybrid, and a regular Mended Hearts group that also meets monthly - you'd be welcome to join one of our meetings if you like. Or reach out and request a 'virtual visit' with someone from the group who has been through a similar experience. See the chapter website  https://www.mendedhearts-bellingham.org/
