Welcome to the group, Jody. Out of all the issues that people have raised on this board since I joined nearly a year ago, nothing is scarier than what you just said about people being too young to know about Mick Jagger. As a history teacher, though, I'm sure you can tell us many stories about kids having no clue about major events in US history.
Glad to have you join us.

Subject: Introduction
Hi....my name is Jody Skipper and I am a 64 year old female with Congestive Heart Failure and AFIB. On April 5, 2019, I had a TAVR at University of Alabama Birmingham. I told all the nurses I was famous because I had the same surgery on the same day as Mick Jagger (of course they were too young to even know who he is). I am a retired (40 years) Secondary U.S. History teacher. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma in 1993 with radiation treatment and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2004 with both chemo and radiation treatment. Now I am living with the damage to my heart from the radiation treatment...but if I hadn't had the radiation the cancer would have killed me. I am happy to find a group that is all about Mending Hearts...thank you for allowing me to join.
