I am Lisa and glad to be joining this community. I am a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Practitioner ,currently doing private counseling. I suffered a heart attack a year ago am grateful to the cardiac team at Stanford for giving me a second chance. I started on Entresto last june and within three months developed a cough. After much trial and error,I believe the key to keeping the cough in check is having enough diuretic(Lasix) to counteract this. It seems that it is cyclical and by that i means,taking 40 mg. per day for about two weeks, seemed to reduce the cough significantly for about two weeks after. Trying to see if this just a fluke or there is a pattern?
