My name is Will. Had 1st Heart Attack at 42 stint followed. 2nd Stint 48. During this time another stress test indicated other issues with the heart. Ejection fraction reduced from 45 to 35 in a matter of 5 years. I had my first defibrillator implanted in 2007 . No issues during my first until battery got low and had a new defibrillator installed. 2-3 more stints implanted in next couple years total of 5.
April 2018 had my first of 2 shocks. Heart raced to 300bpm I passed out and was hit once before I got to the ground and my 2nd shock within milliseconds.
Hospital ride in ambulance, 2-3 days of more test and Cardiologist and Electrophysiology decided to implant a new device with 3 wire lead.
Ejection Fraction is now at 33%
6 months later the triple CABG happened. 7 days in hospital, had great care from all, wish I could thank them again.
SO over last 5 years it is strictly emotional . Anxiety, depression and lots of pills and side affects.
I joined this site to see if I can get some much needed emotional assistance.
