J. Michael Lam has over 40 years experience in Information Technology and Data Center Management. Mike has lived in Virginia for over 60 years, Studied at Blue Ridge Community College and James Madison University. Mike majored in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Business Management. Mike is also a certified Systems/Performance Engineer with both Hewlett Packard Corporation and Strategic Memory Solutions. Mike as a consulting engineer has served as lead design system engineer for Wells Fargo Mortgages, Thomas Industries, BYU, City of San Francisco, and Micros Corporations for hardware implementation, data center enhancements and upgrades along with disaster recovery solutions. Mike retired from James Madison University in 2007 with over 33 years of Data Center Management, Design, and Leadership of the 13 full time engineers within his team. As the Sr. Vice President for Premier, Mr. Lam reports to Mr. S. David Tong, President/CEO of Premier.
Specialties: Responsible for overseeing contracts division, new proposals, and RFP responses. Mike is also responsible for design and patent pending award of a LEED Certified Data Center. All new facilities will be designed and engineered with energy efficient and proper air handling. The facilities are designed for modular and quick deployment – Just In Time Computing Facilities.

Mike enjoys traveling has been to 47 out of the 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Dominion Republic, Greece and Costa Rica. Mike has 5 grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them as well as local wineries and micro breweries
